2015 Gates Annual Letter

Bill and Melinda Gates published their annual letter this year. They note 4 areas they are betting big on for the next 15 years including:

  • CHILD DEATHS WILL GO DOWN, AND MORE DISEASES WILL BE WIPED OUT
  • AFRICA WILL BE ABLE TO FEED ITSELF
  • MOBILE BANKING WILL HELP THE POOR TRANSFORM THEIR LIVE
  • BETTER SOFTWARE WILL REVOLUTIONIZE LEARNING

The note concludes with a call for "Global Citizens" to get involved. What do you think? Will the next 15 years be transformative in these areas? What is the letter missing?

“The belief that the world can’t solve extreme poverty and disease isn’t just mistaken. It is harmful.”
— Bill Gates (2014 Gates Annual Letter)
